Foundation
The Public Association “Political Club of Women – 50/50”, founded by a group of women active in public/ political life, has registered its Statute according to the Republic of Moldova legislation on the 16th of December 1999.

Objectives
- Encourage women’s ambition;
- Promote gender equality;
- Find solutions to problems that women face in society (domestic violence, human traffic, gender discrimination);
- Promote women to decision-making positions in general and within political parties;
- Include gender equality dimension in the political parties’ platforms and agendas, in their electoral platforms;
- Create a network of women members of different political parties;
- Strengthen women’s solidarity;
- Raise youth interest towards political/public field.
